About the Authors:

Dr. Friedman, Executive Director of the Veterans Administration National Center for PTSD has also served as President of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and spokesperson on PTSD for the National Institute of Mental Health. Over the course of 30 years he has authored 120 scientific articles and numerous reports to Congress. Additionally, he is editor of four books on PTSD including Core Treatments for the Treatment of PTSD.
